Smart Locks

Smart lock on the front door of the hallway during the day — the door opens without a key.

A key can be left at home or lost on the way — a code, fingerprint, and command from the app are always with you. This is how smart locks from LUMUX smart home devices open the door, with each access method configured separately for a family member, guest, or cleaner.

Access under control

Smart locks keep an entry history: it's clear who opened the door and when, even if the owners were away. A temporary code for a nanny or a technician is only valid for a specified period and automatically stops working afterward — there's no need to change the lock cylinder or collect keys back.

Temporary access for guests or cleaning
  • entry by code, fingerprint, or app
  • temporary guest access with automatic expiration
  • door opening history with time indication
  • joint scenario with video intercom

Smart locks are rarely installed separately from entrance video surveillance: LUMUX integrates them with a video intercom and door/window opening sensors to ensure comprehensive entry control. The overall scenario is configured in the locks and intercoms section. A service technician on call, a courier with a delivery, or a cleaner receives access strictly for the required hour, not a permanent key that is difficult to retrieve or track later.

What do people ask before ordering

The app shows the battery level in advance and sends a low-battery notification, so you can replace the battery on schedule, not at the last minute on the doorstep. In case it does run out unexpectedly, the lock has a backup entry method — a mechanical key.

Yes, the physical key remains a functional backup even after installing a smart lock — LUMUX designs the smart home as an additional control layer, not the only one, and always provides a clear fallback option in case of battery drain, connection failure, or internet outage.

A temporary code is only valid for a scheduled period and automatically expires on its own, without needing a technician's visit or replacement of the lock cylinder. Access can also be manually disabled in the app at any moment if needed — the entry history is preserved and remains visible to the owner.

Each entry method — code, fingerprint, app — is configured individually for a specific person, not shared for everyone. The entry log records who opened the door and when, so any suspicious event is visible in the app and doesn't go unnoticed.
