Indoor Video Surveillance

A child's room, kitchen, or a pet's room — these are the three places you most often want to check in on without leaving your tasks in another part of the apartment. For this purpose, LUMUX projects selectively integrate internal video surveillance from smart home devices: cameras are placed where the view is truly needed, not in every room indiscriminately.
Where a camera is appropriate and where it is not
Internal video surveillance in LUMUX projects is planned with respect for the privacy of everyone living in the home: adult bedrooms and personal spaces typically remain out of view, while cameras are placed in common areas — the children's room, kitchen, pet play area. This approach is discussed at the design stage, not decided after the fact.

- real-time monitoring of a child's or playroom
- Pet monitoring when no one is home
- recording for later viewing if something was missed
- Exclusion of private areas from the recording zone
Internal video surveillance is complemented by video surveillance with remote viewing and notifications, when it's important not just to have a picture, but to receive notifications about movement in a specific room. The perimeter of the property is covered by external video surveillance from the general video surveillance section. The owner decides which areas are in the frame and which remain private space.

What do people ask before ordering
Access to the live feed and archive is available only to the homeowner and those they personally add to the app. The smart home market as a whole is moving towards local solutions precisely because people fear the leakage of personal data to third-party clouds — this is the same principle LUMUX builds into its video surveillance design.
Yes, that's exactly how LUMUX designs internal video surveillance: cameras are placed precisely where coverage is truly needed—in the nursery, kitchen, pet room—while adult bedrooms and personal spaces typically remain out of view by default.
Camera placement is discussed during the project stage, taking into account who lives in the house and which areas are private to them — this is the owner's decision, not a ready-made template. The LUMUX engineer suggests options, but the final list of rooms with and without coverage always remains with the homeowner.
